How to take a screenshot

WINDOWS USERS - 95, XP, VISTA, 7

1. Press the Print Screen (Prt Scr) key.



2. Open Paint, Paint.NET, Photoshop, CorelDraw, GIMP, or any image editor.

3. Press Ctrl + V to paste it.

4. Resize, crop, highlight, whatever you need to do with it.

5. Once finished, save it to your Disk (File >> Save).

For those with Mac OS X, press Command-Shift-3 to take a screenshot of the screen and save it as a file on the desktop.

EDIT: For windows 7 users, you can also use the snipping tool. Search for it on the start menu, and click it to use it. Btw, its not as quick as doing what has been said earlier, but you dont need to crop it.~Koolkid

i'd reccomend quick screen shot maker cause it directly saves the image.
